This course covers the content for the unit of competency BSBCNV614 – Apply principles of trust accounting which forms part of the FNS51522 Diploma of Credit Management qualification.

The management of a trust account is relevant to those people who need to hold a Master Licence in accordance with the Commercial Agents and Private Inquiry Agents Act 2004 (NSW) and/or the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) relating to the holding of an Australian Credit License.

Learning outcomes:

The steps involved in establishing a trust account and/or reviewing an existing trust account

  • Controlling activities associated with the management of a trust account
  • Developing and implementing good practice when managing a trust account
  • Strategies for the reconciliation and verification of activities involving a trust account.

To access the virtual classrooms, all you need is a device with internet, audio and preferably video capability e.g. a Smartphone, laptop or PC.

The session will deliver the same content and structure with the following modifications to maximise interaction with the facilitator and participants:

  • Sessions limited to 12 participants
  • Additional breaks, so you can refresh and stretch
  • Additional time and support for those attending a virtual classroom for the first time.

This means you can attend the sessions from the comfort of your business or home office.

Participants that undertake and successfully complete the assessment requirements for BSBCNV614 will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
