PPS Goes Live 30 January 2012

The Attorney General and the PPS Registrar announced that the PPS Register will commence on 30 January 2012.

This means that current unsecured creditors whose security interests come within the meaning of the Personal Property Securities Act will be able to commence loading security interests from 30 January 2012 on the PPS Register.

This is a significant victory for AICM members and can in part be attributed to AICM's strong opposition to any further delay in implementation.

The formal confirmation can be downloaded here
